Timed Competition Outline:

Individuals will be given 50 empty 2 gallon buckets that must be filled at ground level by hand or shovel and  then transported by hand on a multi-level walkway to a platform 10 feet off the ground. The 50 empty buckets will need to be returned from the platform to the ground level.

 

Teams of 4 will be given 100 empty 2 gallon buckets that must be filled at ground level by hand or shovel and  then transported by hand on a multi-level walkway to a platform 10 feet off the ground. The 100 empty buckets will need to be returned from the platform to the ground level.

 

Teams of 8 will be given 200 empty 2 gallon buckets that must be filled at ground level by hand or shovel and  then transported by hand on a multi-level walkway to a platform 10 feet off the ground. Only 100 empty buckets will need to be returned from the platform to the ground level.

 

Team Categories to choose from:

Army, Navy, Marines, Airforce, Coast Guard, Police, Fire, First Responders,

Jr. Vets (under 60), Sr. Vets (over 60), Mixed Vets Jr. and Sr.,

Unaffiliated - Ages 12-14, 15-17, 18-20, 21-23 Male, Female, or Mixed

To enter, each Individual must raise $50, each Team of 4 must raise $100, and each Team of 8 must raise $200 through the dedicated Tunnel to Towers link provided below. 

 

Please proceed to the Bucket Brigade Registration Form to sign up to compete. Teams of 4 or 8 should choose one Team Representative to register for your entire team and will be the point of contact.

Once we receive your online registration form and your commitment to raise the required funds to enter, you or the team representative will receive an assigned registration number via email. This registration number is to be used when registering through our website for Time Trials and onsite at the Bucket Brigade Competition event. The number also needs to be added in the comment section on the dedicated T2T donation when donations are made directly thru the T2T link. By doing this important step, your team will get credit for the donation.

 

You may begin collecting your donations immediately upon registering. Total individual or team donation must be paid in full on the T2T donation website before you can be considered to be part of the semi-finals.

 

Once your registration has been submitted online,  and you have received your confirmation email with your assigned registration number, you will be directed to our Time Trial Calendar. The Time Trial slots will start June 1st and run through approximately mid to late July (weather permitting). Your Team Representative can sign up as many times as you like up until the time trials end. The top 10 times recorded in each category will be invited to the Semi-finals.  The top 2 times and 1 alternate from the Semi-final results will move on to the Finals. Plaques and prizes will be given out at an awards ceremony to be held at a later date once the world record is broken.
